STEM Labour Force in Brazil under Comparative Perspective

This brief piece outlines my research on the economics of knowledge. It addresses the mechanisms through which innovation foments capitalist dynamism and surveys the conditions under which knowledge is considered important for economic development and growth. The commentary here addressed thus dialogues with canonical debates in microeconomics - firm behaviour. I outline the institutional incentive structure conducive with innovative enterprises and propose a preliminary empirical analysis of the educated labour force in Brazil. The analysis claims no causal effects - and serves only descriptive goals in setting avenue for further research.
