The sections of young party members, known as Youth Leagues, despite being a relevant part of party activity, receive little attention from the literature that discusses political parties and affiliation. In the face of the crisis of political parties and the traditional forms of participation, the work discusses - from the perspective of party leaders - the character of political youth activism in the Youth Leagues. To this end, were conducted 10 interviews with young party leaders from 6 different parties asking about individual trajectory, recruitment, political training, and candidacies. The work provides relevant evidence regarding the organizational structure of the Youth Leagues and the patterns of youth political involvement.
