The Federal Supreme Court(Supremo Tribunal Federal) has recently begun to attract the attention of the general public to its decisions, which have a major national impact. At the same time, it began to use the Virtual Plenary tool more assiduously, making it possible for judgments to be held online and asynchronously since 2016. The full effects of these significant changes are not yet known, but it is possible to develop questions and possible explanations in order to identify them. This research has brought revelations regarding the new decision-making process, with the statistical data provided by the STF itself making it possible to quantify its concrete inferences. In addition, it explained how and what factors motivated a reorientation of the Court's decision-making processes. Based on the information made available digitally, together with a relevant doctrinal foundation, the study's conclusions were thoroughly scrutinized in order to identify and rebut possible criticisms, and from this procedure it was possible to deduce an intelligible result. Although the decisions of the highest court of the Brazilian Judiciary have had their application expanded, the new panorama brings a vision of distancing from the usual way of deciding, generating an increase in inspection by the people of how the procedure takes place.
