O impacto de métodos de avaliação em grupos marginalizados no âmbito do ensino jurídico: O caso de testes padronizados de alto impacto, autoavaliações e avaliações escritas.

The article endeavors to analyze the impacts different assessment methods have on minorities, especially in the context of legal teaching. Because of the scarcity of literature on assessment methods in the area of law, other teaching contexts were taken into consideration in order to delineate, in light of a review of relevant literature, the main adverse effects of each assessment method analyzed. Three methods were explored: standardized high-stakes testing; self-evaluations and peer review; and writing assessments. The article concludes setting forth recommendations that aim to reduce the negative effects these methods have on minorities.
