Among the challenges faced by distance education is dropout, which can be reported as the largest of them. According to Maia (2007), dropout is the student's withdrawal from completing the course, regardless of whether they attended classes or not, ie, those who permanently drop out of the course at any stage (FAVERO, 2006; ABBAD, CARVALHO AND ZERBINI, 2006). This research will seek to collect data and information on the factors that most influence dropout and permanence in technology undergraduate courses in EAD.
