This study investigates how individual beliefs and socioeconomic conditions influence the academic trajectories of undergraduate students in Business Administration at FGV EBAPE. Using a structured questionnaire applied to graduating students, the research compared scholarship and non-scholarship students in relation to Growth Mindset and Entitlement beliefs, as well as indicators of mental health (PHQ-9) and engagement in extracurricular activities. Although the sample size limited the use of inferential statistics, the descriptive results were rich and revealing. Scholarship students demonstrated higher Growth Mindset, lower Entitlement, and greater vulnerability to emotional distress, while non-scholarship students displayed higher levels of entitlement and broader access to extracurricular opportunities. The findings highlight how socioeconomic inequalities shape academic performance, well-being, and self-perception, offering valuable insights for future institutional initiatives aimed at promoting equity and inclusion in higher education.
