Casebooks, case method e manuais: uma análise das críticas aos símbolos da educação jurídica

This  research project aimed  to  study,  by examining brazilian and  american's literature, the  similarities between milestones of the  legal  education in  both countries: the  casebooks - along  with  its case  method - and  law  manuals. Its goal  was  to  develop an  exploratory analysis to  understand if those symbols, equally  criticized in  the  academic field, present similar issues  and  then,  pave the   way   to   future  discussions  on   how   to   improve  our   legal   operators' upbringing today. In the  end, the  research hypothesis was confirmed, meaning that there are  considerable similarities between those  symbols, especially in logistical  and  reputational aspects.
