The article produced is an analysis and, consequently, a collection of conclusions from a research made between September 2021 and June 2022, under the guidance of Professor Nicolo Zingales, related to the issue of regulation of e-cornrnerces and the Brazilian LGPD. During the research, a database was structured with judicial decisions related to e-cornrnerces and LGPD. We have studied those judicial decisions for a later understanding of the LGPD in Brazil, given that it is a brand new law- entered into force in 2021.
